What is a Trophy Kit?
We call it a "kit" because we sell the trophies unassembled. Unassembled column trophies are much easier to ship and they take up much less space. Damage is highly unlikely during transit.
You also save lots of $$$$ by doing the assembly. Assembly is fun and easy.

It's really exciting to see your awards come to life as you build them. You become the trophy shop, and save all the money they charge to assemble the awards.
Our trophy kits come with all the parts needed to assemble a complete trophy.

Do you offer other style kits?
Our online store has numerous trophy sizes and styles. Each of these have many column and figure (topper) options available. This creates thousands of possibilities you can create yourself.

Do you offer complete trophies?
Many of our kits ship unassembled. The assembly is very easy and typically the only tool required is a 7/16" nut driver or socket wrench. However we do offer many awards that do not require assembly. Be sure to check the Products page for all types of awards.

Although our offices close at 5:30pm, we are typically still working and responding to calls and emails.

Do you accept Purchase Orders?
All orders must be prepaid before we begin work, but we have a way to pay by check:

Please visit our website and load a shopping cart with the items you need. Enter the checkout process, proceed to the shipping screen, select a shipping option, then close your browser. At that point, we can see your order on our administrative end and capture your order out of the shopping cart. We'll email you an invoice, and you can then mail a check to us. Once we receive and process the check, we will authorize your order and begin work.

Be sure to contact us when you have selected a shipping method, so we can capture the order and send an invoice to the email address on your order.

Do you have any discounts or codes?

Can I get a copy of my Invoice
If it's been less than 2 weeks since you placed the order, you can get a copy of your invoice receipt on the Order Status page here.
You will need your order ID number and the email address on the order.

If it's been longer than that, you can get a copy in your client account. Client accounts are optional, but if you have one, you can login and get a copy under "Order Management"

If you do not have a client account, you can send us a message and we can resend one to the original email address on the order.
You can also create a client account and contact us to link your old orders to the newly created account.

Can I pay by check?
If you need to pay by check - here is how it will work - You will go to website and load your shopping cart, enter the checkout process, enter your address, and proceed to the shipping screen. At that point, we can see your order on our administrative end.
We can then capture your order out of the shopping cart and send you an invoice. You can then mail a check to us.
Once we receive and process the check, we will authorize your order, then produce and ship it.

Be sure to contact us when you have loaded your shopping cart so we can pull the order and send a receipt to the email address on the order.

I received a Timeout message when making payment
In most cases, we have received your order, and we will be processing it today. That timeout message sometimes happens with our payment processor, and we hope it didn't cause too much inconvenience.

You should receive a receipt for your order at your inbox. If you don't see it right away, it should populate soon.

My discount code wont work
Some coupon websites harvest deals from our site and some of the deals listed are no longer active and we do not have any control over what is listed there - nor do we submit any info to them. Some of the deals listed are accurate such as the free shipping over $99.00.

Will I be charged Sales Tax?
We collect sales tax in our home state of Florida and a number of additional states where we are required to.

Wholesale pricing?
While we do not specifically offer wholesale pricing, our pricing model is typically less than retail pricing and many customers resell our products.
If you do resell our products, or are interested in reselling, we do have a page with some tools you can use, along with a signup form here, where you can be notified of any developments in future programs.

Can I use a Logo?
Logos can be used on nameplates you purchase and on some products, but not on the free nameplates that come with many awards.

How do I supply text for my items?
It's easy to enter text for each item as you add to the shopping cart. However, if you have quite a few of the same item, with varying text, then you will want to make that easier.
You can just type in the Line 1 text area that you will upload a file or text will be provided.
After you place the order, you can upload a file, or use a tool we have on the website to provide bulk text.
Files can be uploaded using a link that is shown on the thank you receipt page after the order is paid. More info here Upload info

How do I upload a file?
The link to upload a file will be on the "Thank You" page where the receipt is shown, after the order is paid. We do have some more info on that at the following link.

What are the specs for Laser engraved images and logos
Laser engraving requires a high resolution image.
We cannot use photos, nor can we use images with shading or greyscale. The image must be monochrome - black line art only, submitted on a white background.
Also, it is preferred to have an original vector image or at least an image with 300+ dpi resolution minimum (images found on websites and social media are typically not suitable as they have been reduced in quality to load fast over an online connection).

What fonts can I use?
For the nameplates that come with our kits, the font is always Arial Bold.
For custom nameplates ordered separately from kits, we can use just about any font.

When adding the plates to your cart, give us as much info as possible in the Special Instructions field. If it's just something like, "script style" then just ask us to change the font to a script style. If it's a specific font, give us the name. We have thousands of fonts but if somehow we do not have it, we will email you back with instructions to send us the file from your computer.

Do you ship outside the US?

How much is shipping?
Shipping costs are calculated in "real time" by our shopping cart. The cart will connect with the shipping companies to show you pricing based on the weight of items in your cart and the destination address.

When will I get my order?
Thank you for contacting us. The website will show you the dates. Currently we are meeting these dates no problem, so load the shopping cart and when you get to the shipping choices, you will have everything you need to make the right selection to be sure the order arrives by your deadline.

Why is US postal USPS shipping not showing?
Due to ongoing issues with the US Postal service, we have ceased all shipping with them. This is because of unresolved issues, including non-pickup of outbound shipments, lost (and damaged) shipments, and extremely late deliveries.
It's possible we may offer these shipping services again in the future, but for now we cannot ship via USPS services. In the meantime please take a look at our low cost of the plates versus other suppliers, and when you look at the total delivered to your door, it's still less and faster than most other companies.

How do I return something

Can I see a proof before I pay
The proofing process is part of production, and since we don't charge any setup or design fees, we only put orders into production after they are paid for. Proofs are typically sent out within two business days.

We do everything we can to make sure you will be happy and will make revisions as needed for no additional charge.

How can I see my trophy before ordering?
In the product description (scroll down) you can see the small thumbnail images for the option choices. Click those to popup larger images. This will allow you to visualize the option choices and gather an idea of how your trophy will look.
If you really need to see an image with your options, you can email over a request (list your option choices).  We can usually get that (computer simulated image) back to you usually within 2 business days.

How do I assemble the Kits?
Our kits are very easy to assemble. Most product pages for our kits have assembly videos shown on the page. Complete instructions are included. If you need assistance, we always offer free support. Our most popular Single Column kit (18SGL-SQ-1) takes less than 2 minutes to assemble on average. Watch videos to learn about trophy parts and see a live assembly various trophy kits.

How do I build my own trophy?
It's usually best to purchase our universal kits that have the hardware pre-calculated. You get everything you need to build a trophy.
However, if you want to design your own trophy, and just want to buy parts, we have a document that will help. How to Build a trophy PDF

Keep in mind that if you are unsure of the rod length you might need for your column length, then it may be best to decide on the rod length first, then cut your columns to fit the space based on rod length.
It's easier to cut columns to specific lengths than to change the rods.

How to order nameplates

Creating an account is optional, but if you forgot your account password, you can use the  "forgot password" feature to reset your password.
If the forgot password feature does not recognize our email address, then there is no account under that email.

What kind of labels or nameplates do you offer?
We offer complete personalized labels for the best price anywhere. We have real metal trophy nameplates, created in different processes and we have flexible laser engraved plates as well. Metal nameplates have many useful purposes, not just awards. We produce most of our nameplates with a heat transfer process called "Sublimation". We are also able to produce nameplates that are Laser etched or UV printed.

How to order assembled plaques
It's three (3) easy steps:

1. Select the wooden backs you want, and add them to your cart. Here is the link to a wide variety sizes and finishes for plaque backs: http://www.trophykits.com/products.asp?cat=Plaque+Blanks

2. Return to the Product Page of the blanks you just ordered. The dimensions for the plates you'll need will be on this page. Write down the size of the recommended plate, based on whether you are orienting the plaques portrait or landscape. Then click on the link which is right there, next to the recommended size. Order the plates, using the dimensions you just noted. Add to cart.

3. If you would like us to affix the plates to the blanks, we can do that for $2.00 each. Here is a link you can use to add that total amount to your cart: http://www.trophykits.com/payments.asp

And that's all it takes. Here are a few other helpful tips:

If you elect not to have us install the plates, they will be supplied separately from the blanks with peel and stick tape applied to the back. You will need to be very careful during application, since the plate is made of metal and will not be re-positionable. When ordering, please feel free to reference any theme you have seen in our plaque designer software (racing, soccer, etc.)--we do still have access to those images, but you will need to tell us in the Additional Information field in your order so we will know to do that.

When ordering your plate, we recommend selecting "Yes" to the proof option you will be offered, so you can see the layout on your screen before we go to print.
